Blockhead (a working title)
I know it's been ages since the last entry but work had to take precedence for a while and will continue to get in the road of progress for some time yet but least we FINALLY can say the that we have got to the straw bale wall bit.
Not a hell of a lot accomplished but at least we have now been able to put some theory into practice over the weekend. The pictures generally tell the story as ever so here we go with the little bit of photo diary. Oh and before I go further, are photographs always such a tediously long thing to load up onto these blogs? At least it keeps me from putting in a lot of irrelevant photos....or does it?
Better back track a couple of weeks when we spent a few days crushing clay...well doesn't everybody spend their leave that way? Oh and let me point out that the generator (magnificent beast) was generously supplied by S&S Hire in Morwell, cheers guys and thanks. The impact mill worked like a treat too but where does the average punter source one. Let's ponder that point later.
The crushing rig at work. We crushed about 12 tonne with a few tonne left that was too wet to treat and will be use for other purposes. Kaolin is good for ones skin apparently so 3 tonne mudpack anyone?
